2019 was a great year for the Bharatiya civilization. We saw major progress in longstanding issues like Article 370, Ram Temple and Citizenship Amendment Bill. However, the battle has just begun, and it is only going to intensify in the coming years as ‘Breaking-India‘ forces will make a desperate attempt to regain control of Bharat’s destiny. As you may have already understood from the reactions to the Citizenship Amendment Act, the impending battle will not be fought on the border or inside the parliament, but it will take place inside your living rooms, on your TV and mobile screens and in your children’s heads. They want to infiltrate the mind-space of the youth, alienate them from the rest of the society and inject them with an incoherent burden of guilt, just so that India may never rise again, and perpetually serves the petty interests of global consumerism and religious fanaticism. We call it intellectual imperialism.

Despite our limited means, we have been able to put up a resistance against intellectual imperialism and the credit goes entirely to our committed supporters, who have chosen to contribute to the cause through Upword. In the last year or so, we have raised awareness about several important Dharmic issues and we daresay that many of our videos did not just breach the confines of the ideological echo-chamber but also highlighted several issues before they became politically charged. We believe in the maxim that politics is downstream of culture and our ideal has been precise articulation as opposed to political rhetoric. We like to be ahead of the times and are always willing to stick our necks out for an idea whose time has come. For this year, we plan to run strategic awareness campaigns on topics such as:

3. Hindu rituals and practices
4. Indo-Pak conflict and the two-nation theory
5. Ancient and Medieval Indian History
6. Ecological crises
7. Demographic challenges facing India
8. Defending the integrity of the institution of family

10. Media studies

Each video we make comes from a cycle of churn that involves deep research, script-writing, graphic design, animation and post-production. Each step is resource intensive and we have managed to put together a sharp and efficient team to bring out world-class content on issues that matter to our civilization. However, we have not been able to release as many videos as we or our supporters would like, primarily because we are entirely crowd-funded and do not have the resources to scale-up yet. This year, we hope to secure the funding in advance to be able to plan and execute our civilizational agenda better and with amplified force.
